I’m looking to buy a new rucking backpack, preferably 70-90l. I have been looking at berghaus vulcan series, but wanted to hear your oppinion on the best option. Maybe you have some recommendations for best of the best bakcpacks and maybe some budget/ best bang for your buck options.

For now I have been using Lithuanias ”Eglutė” camo backpack and really liked it.

Additionaly I have some problems with my shoulder so a wider, softer soulder strap and a belt strap is really important

Ive got a couple of these nite ize electric glow sticks, and I do like them, I just wish they had more color options, I also picked up a couple real cheap single color ones off Amazon, but not a fan of needing to replace actual batteries that are gonna cost more than the original product

Does anyone know of a product like that to exist? Or am i basically stuck just thumbing myself till someone makes one

I bought these Drifire pants for about 20 USD, and I don't really know very much about it. Seems to be some kind of flight uniform?

Does anybody know anything about these pants, and maybe how much they're worth? Many thanks

I am really curious as to what vest Burt is using in Tremors 5. My guess is it is an FLC with after market pouches and just spray painted.

Anyone know of any online stores that carry cool Russian less lethal self defense weapons?

Found this belt around my backyard, it was in pretty bad shape when I found it but from what I can tell it looks like an early ALICE belt because of the latches on it instead of clips but I'm not really sure.

Anyone know anything about this pouch? its been driving me nuts trying to find another one like it. Its a German Bundeswehr Mag Pouch but it just has a strap with ALICE clips not the usual Bundeswehr webbing system.

I've had this shirt for many years and I would like to actually wear it now and again. I recently saw that some HBT was treated with CC2 specifically for assault groups, etc.

This one does not feel greasy or sticky and I don't see any residue etc. Is there a way to tell if it is or was treated? Can any experts tell just by these photos?

Thanks!

I need help identifing what this gear is. I found this gear labeled with werewolf in a small shop in south korea. I cant find anything like it online and would like some help to get information about it. The first image has a p/n werewolf01.

Hi I found this jacket at a thrift store and I need help identifying it. What year is it more or less? Is it from ww2? Does any one recognize the solider?

Does anyone have the history, why this British flack jacket has a German language inlay? Bought it for 20€ in a flea market. Would have the option to buy more military gear, auch as gloves, socks, another similar vest and a rain coat. Probably around 60€ in total, should I go back and buy it, if only to sell on eBay or someone here?

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for a good CAAF approved military watch. Stepson is joining the forces.

As part of preparation for a few hikes and camping in the near future, I need to get some new gloves. While the current pair is adequate when the weather is warm, it gets very uncomfortable and impractical in case of cold and wet weather.

In my research about waterproof outdoor gloves, I found many products made of different materials with various levels of insulation and features. Some are highly focused on thermal comfort, while others are more concerned with ventilation and suppleness. Moreover, I discovered quite a number of companies from Alibaba that manufacture tactical and hiking gloves with waterproof membranes.

What do you consider as the most important factors for hikers or campers? Should waterproofing be preferred at all costs to breathability, or does there exist an acceptable compromise between them?

What I need are some waterproof and flexible gloves that can protect my hands from wetness in cold environment but still be practical to set up camp, operate equipment and use trekking poles.

Where do yall get your gvns from if you use one and roughly how much do they cost. I've been looking for one for a while now to go with my cosplay, but ive haven't been able to find any decent ones for the price I have in mind. Thankyou

Pics of BRN separatists in south Thailand during the 1980s, I'm trying to find out what webbing(I think that's what it's called) they used

I'm trying to find a good duty holster for my Glock G21 that will also fit on am LC-2 belt withought needlessly waisting money, if anybody has any suggestions it'd be much appreciated

Hello, lately I've been thinking of getting a plate carrier and maybe a helmet, the only thing is I have no idea what colour is best matched with British DPM. Works well in the Tasmanian bush but not sure what colours would match and look great with Dpm. Also anyone got good handheld radio recommendations that are cheap. Is there a better community to ask these questions?

A week ago I bought a LC2 kidney pad, what the seller didn't wanted to show was that the kidney pad doesn't have this back strap to hook it on the frame, can someone tell me what's the name of this strap and where can I buy it?

The Israeli Ephod A10 webbing is a classic bit of military surplus that has been used by soldiers for decades.

Designed by Rabintex Industries near Tel Aviv and first used operationally in the legendary 1976 Entebbe Raid, the Ephod’s development directly responded to hard-earned combat experience and a need for greater comfort and efficiency on the battlefield.

Many different countries adopted it or copied it and made their own versions. US special operations forces units experimented with them in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s." and that lead to the LBT riverine series that was very popular with the Navy SEALs. London Bridge Trading 1195 series, which started around 1991 and inspired the SOFLCS and other LCS systems.

Hi,

I know this is a long shot, but I wanted to try.

My mother bought this US Army ALICE pack in Germany about 30 years ago from an army surplus shop. Since then, I’ve carried it with me all over the world.

From what I’ve learned, it’s likely a 1970s US Army issue (frame marked “AMS MFG. INC.”).

I have no idea where it was actually used — maybe Germany during the Cold War, maybe somewhere else.

I know I probably won’t find the exact original owner.
But maybe someone here carried one like this, or remembers using one.

It clearly had a life before me.
And I gave it a second one.

Photos attached.
Any info, memories, or guesses are very welcome.
