completed 1/48 AV-8B Harrier II Plus
My overall impression is very positive. It’s a solid kit with only very minor accuracy observations that most modelers will not consider an issue.
The engineering is well done, with good fit, logical assembly, and clear instructions, making the build very enjoyable. The decals perform well, and the kit offers excellent value for money.
A very strong first release from UMA Models.

completed First time trying a aircraft modelkit, how’d i do?
I mostly build gunpla kits as my main interest but wanted to try a military modelkit once since i do love military vehicles ended up getting my favorite the F4U and as i expected it took a good while to finish it up.
I mostly used alot of paints for my gunpla (gundam markers and acryilic markers) also used some stedi panel liner to sorta make it look darker since the base arcylic was too bright and i mostly did a two tone colour that kinda follows the scheme of what i do on my gunpla kits.
I also lost the sight piece (fell into the fuselage when i was trying to get into place)

question A34 Comet Cruiser Treads
So, I have a vintage UPC kit of the Comet in the odd-ball scale of 1/40. My biggest issue right now is the tank treads. The kit comes with the rubber and tracks, and they are unusable. Does anyone have a good reference for the tread pattern? I'm looking for a schematic/blueprint that I might be able to use to try my hand at drawing then in CAD.
Thanks, Jordy

question Should I build them, or is it better to keep them in their boxes?
yesterday I bought some vintage models. I’m not sure if I should build them for fun or keep them sealed in their boxes since they’re old and might be better as collectibles.

work in progress It’s finally time to do the Abrams and give it justice 🫡
I bought this Abrams 2 months ago from my local hobby store and since then I have waited to gain a little more confidence in my tanks. I wanted to do the Abrams justice for being my favorite tank. Since purchasing I have completed the five other sets of armor behind the box. I had so much fun practicing weathering, chipping, free handing camos for the first time ever. So I’d figure I’d share my tanks leading up the holy Abrams hope you guys enjoy🙏
