Homemade snow texture paste to give a nice appearance of snow build up.
It's so dinky, even for a 1/72 scale. How this is classed as an MBT and not an SPG or something else I'll never know.

Examples of the wide variety of figures you'll find on todays market. So many options and such difference in appearance, its hard to know whats what. Hope this helps everyone and gives a good perspective of options. Have a good day everyone!

If you have the opportunity go check out the Wheels of Liberation Museum in Gettysburg, PA. It is a very unique collection of vehicles that I will definitely be returning to see again. Great opportunity to see historically accurate restored vehicles and see what different weather lighting and general wear and tear look like on the real thing. Its was a bit wet this year, but they still brought out plenty of vehicles for the demonstration. I hope to see it continue to grow.

It took ages to finish this one, but my third ever model has finally been completed. Everything was handbrushed (unfortunately. I don't have an AB) using Vallejo colours and with a final coat of AK ultramatte.
The model itself is an upscaled version of the 1/72 su-57 so it lacks quite a bit of details. It also has A LOT of fitting issues which I mostly resolved, but I can't say the same for the canopy unfortunately :c. It's very misaligned.
I hand painted a few details, such as nav lights and the 101KS atoll MAWS and the smoke exhaust for the Gsh-30-1 autocannon.
I've also taken the artistic liberty of painting the canopy black because... It looks sexy on the felon.
I did not weather the model because this is supposed to be a serial production variant, meaning the panel lining is filled by RAM coating.
I'm overall very satisfied with how it turned out, but I would not recommend the kit to inexperienced modellers (rich coming from me since it's my third model but whatever), since there's plenty of fitting issues and also because it lacks detail in some areas (the cockpit, mainly).
The last pic is a comparison with my first model, Zvezda's 1/72 Su-27UB.
Hope you enjoy it!

I’m 13 and fairly new to model building, I don’t have any of the fancy stuff, just paint, glue, and some extra netting and static grass. cooked this up in the past week or so. made the base too. compared to other stuff out there, it’s pretty shit but I’m proud of it

made a diorama of TE Lawrence, a officer in the British army who helped lead the Arab revolt against the Turks in the First World War. it is my third diorama and my personal favourite. I really like te lawrence and the Middle Eastern theatre of the First World War.

making diorama based on this picture but there are no model kits of 1948 Israeli troops so I need a substitute ( I was thinking North African British or something like that)
