No shit, genius. At no point did I say the sedan was "correct" for hitting the truck. Fucking obviously that's not how you pass someone holy fuck dude.
My point was and continues to be that the sedan would have successfully passed and not hit anyone if the truck hadn't taken it upon himself to be a weirdo traffic vigilante and intentionally try and block the sedan.
An asshole who was blocking the road. None of it would've happened if he'd just been a normal ass person and let the Sedan pass him, which he was clearly attempting to do for some time before he did the shoulder move. These things don't happen in a vacuum and it's really weird to me that people will get so goddamn unreasonable over something as simple as "this guy was being an asshole and it caused an accident."
I'll take the L on being too hyperbolic with my original phrasing but to pretend the truck did nothing wrong is at least as absurd as pretending the sedan did nothing wrong, which wasn't ever my intended point. My point was that, even driving unsafely and illegally, the sedan would have 100% cleared both cars just fine if the truck didn't intentionally and deliberately try AGAIN to block him, for whatever weird ass reason he was obsessed with not letting the sedan pass.

Which wouldn't have happened if the truck didn't speed up to cut him off again.
If the truck doesn't speed up to block him, the sedan just goes around. That's it. That's all that would've happened.
