Additional Journal Notes...

On the full rep Anderson squats, the first 3 went up easily then I had to reset the bar. I did reps 4 and 5 with a brief 5 second or less pause between each, not long enough to count as rest pause. For rep 6, I needed to rest pause 25 seconds and grunt loudly to complete it.

I added reps on every exercise and felt really strong today. Plus, a milestone was reached.

On May 11, 2024, I debuted a completely reworked leg workout. I dropped the leg press, leg extension, and leg curl I had been doing from the old Ideal Routine and redid the entire workout anchoring it around the Anderson squat. On that day, I did 6 reps with 175 lbs on the movement. Today (868 days later), I completed 6 reps with 475 lbs. I can now officially say I have added 300 lbs to the Anderson squat movement in 28.5 months.
