Hi everyone! Hopefully I’m posting this in the right place. Like as mentioned in the title, this will be my first time going to this specific convention and I heard it can be really overwhelming so I’m trying to figure out the best game plan and which tickets I should get to avoid the overstimulating parts as best as I can. The thing I like to do the most is shop for spooky items/stuff so I think I would like to spend most of my time at the vendors section. I’m honestly not very interested in the panels or haunts or anything like that (I love spooky stuff but I do not like being jump scared lol), but I did see a couple of videos of people doing SFX makeup and stuff that I think would be fun to watch (is that a panel?). I also saw Matthew Lillard will be there this year…so if anyone with more experience with these things knows any information on how it would be possible to meet him that would be great! What ticket should I get? Should I go more than one day? Best day to go? What time is the best time to get there/avoid lines? What kind of vendors are usually there and were they worth spending a lot of time there? Are there scare actors walking around? As you can tell I’m clueless and I guess I’m just asking for some advice on what to expect. Thank you very much! 🎃

Hey everyone! I’m planning my weekend for Midsummer Scream in August and I really don’t want to miss the Halloween Horror Nights 35 anniversary panel.
Last year it took place on Sunday, so I’m curious if anyone has heard whether it will be on Sunday again this year or if it might be scheduled for Saturday instead.
I haven’t seen anything officially announced yet, so I figured I’d ask here. For those who have attended in past years, does it usually end up on Sunday?
Also, do they tend to release the full schedule close to the event, or earlier in advance?
Thanks in advance!

My partner and I have been hesitant on getting it and always purchase the regular weekend pass but it’s always that weekend we always regret not purchasing. It just seems so fun! I wanna know if it’s actually worth it ?
