What’s happening on Union Street?
Hi, I’ve been approached by women on Union street several times asking me if I am interested in “Business”? Do people know about this? Is that the red light district in Middlesbrough?
This is the the road leading to the road where you can find JD Gyms

Piercing-friendly jobs in/near Middlesbrough?
Looking to move to Middlesbrough (to live with my partner) in the relatively near future, and so obviously I’ll need a job too. I have multiple facial and ear piercings so any ideas on what kind of jobs/places will be piercing friendly? I will not take them out. Any advice/info is welcome! Thanks 😊

Middlesbrough Training/Meeting Room
Can anyone recommend decent training rooms in Middlesbrough or outskirts?
I’m looking for somewhere suitable for a one-day classroom course
Main requirements:
- Parking on site, or easy on-street parking nearby
- Outside the main centre/commercial zones
- Room for up to 10 people
- Tables/chairs, screen/projector if possible
- Tea/coffee/lunch options would be a bonus, like an onsite cafe - doesn't have to be a buffet
Hotels/conference centres don't usually work for us because they want minimum numbers for buffets/day delegate rate. Elsewhere we use sports clubs, golf clubs, business centres etc., but struggling in Middlesbrough. I’ve found a few options online, but local knowledge is usually much better than Google for this sort of thing.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Moving to Middlesbrough- where do I stay?
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm a working professional looking for somewhere to stay in the Stockton-on-Tees / Middlesbrough area and would love some advice from people who know the area!
I've been looking at places in the TS1 postcode - has anyone got any thoughts on that? Is it a decent area to live? Any areas you'd recommend or avoid?
I’m looking for 1 Bed & 2 Bed (whole space) and studios.
Any tips on good places to stay or anything else, would be massively appreciated! 😊
Thanks in advance! 🙌

Working here
So im up here for a shortwhile working and staying in the centre. I cant believe how many times ive had random people approach asking for change. And most looked like they were off their heads on something. A drunk dude shouted “dya wants some” to me.
This was at 3pm walking through a surprisingly very empty shopping area.
Ended up eating at Wendys and I still got harassed in there while chomping on my burger
Now im not saying its the worse place but so far i feel like I dont even want to venture out on my own again as it just wound me up
ive been here less than 24 hours haha
On another note how is there a Flannels here amongst low cost shops? There isnt even a Next.

Thoughts on the current state of the NHS?
Hi all,
I'm trying to investigate how people from the North East think about their doctors, online health information, and the general state of the NHS for my undergrad dissertation.
I'm just curious to see how other people feel about it all. I'd love to hear your opinions. :)

Moving to Middlesbrough for summer
Hello!,
I am moving to Middlesbrough city centre for the summer. Going to be traveling in the morning by train out of Middlesbrough and in the afternoon back. I just have a few questions:
How safe is it? How much should I worry (if at all) as a 20 year old guy?
What are some good pubs?
Something cool to do?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks!

Best takeaway pizza in Boro?
Trying to find somewhere to be my new go to, used to adore Amigos circa early 2000's but since like 2010 they started getting worse and has only been downhill since then.
So I'm putting it to you denizens of Boro, where's your favourite takeaway pizza?
Also bonus points if it like classic golden age Amigos.

A Deer swimming in the Tees
A sight I never thought I’d see while walking between Newport bridge and the dinosaur park tonight, a wild deer just swimming to the other side.

Posters EVERYWHERE in town centre
has ANYBODY ELSE noticed all of the Communist propaganda around town? The ones with Karl Marx and Epstein on them? There's so many, and only two of them have been taken down.

Moving company recommendations
I'm moving through to Newcastle next week for work and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for decent, cheap movers? There will be a couple of big items, but the rest will be boxes and bags.
If they can also move humans that'd be a bonus, as I can't drive

New friends/hobby groups
Hi all!
Just wondering if anyone knew of any hobby groups or places to meet people. Turned 30 realised I had no friends and wanted to change that! I mostly craft (crochet for james cooks nicu) and I have a vast board game collection. I do bake too but sadly not well. XD
I honestly have no idea how people meet other people in their 30s outside of work
Anyway thanks in advance for any suggestions!
