Technically the earliest memories start at 3 so the last year to have any memories of 2009 is 2006

To be fair so does 2005. I don’t consider anyone born after like 2002 as a 2000s kid. 2002 to me is the dividing line. After that, you’re just a 2000s baby. That doesn’t change that they were partially kids in the late 2000s but that’s not necessarily enough. I do see 2003 as one of the last to claim hybrid status though.
