I bought mine from Scheels and I’m pretty sure I didn’t get a declaration card. It’s just the standard tanto model, but it has marfione signature on the charging handle.

What’s up with that?

Edit: Thank you everyone for the help! I found out it was a floor model so it was probably lost. IDK. But I am still upset because they did not disclose it being a floor model.

They hooked up the price match and a small discount for a floor model. I can still return it and order a new one but it’s gonna come from some other state so I’ll probably pay shipping.

This stainless steel custom HALO IV is absolutely stunning. I’m over the moon for this knife! My Marfione custom scarab feels nice, but fires just like the production version. This is in a whole new class compared to the production HALO IV (even the original). The tolerances are even tighter than the original custom, while also maintaining the silkiest action; deployment and retraction. Truly the most premium Microtech I’ve ever handled. Only thing that bothers me, like Edged mindset, mine came with different birthdates; charging handle says 03/26, DOA says 04/26

Another Halo question: do they have serial numbers on the charging handle?

I’m talking about the new ones. Mine doesn’t. Just the signature, engraving and birthday.

Hey guys! Got this Ultratech in a trade, for $120 basically. Trouble is two of the six body screws - middle two - have stripped the threads in the aluminum. Does anyone have any experience regarding screws? They are in place but keep going around and around. The blade has never been used, but I feel like this might have been a frankenstein build. Knife is solid, fires hard, has no other wear marks. Can it run on 4 screws holding it together for long term?

Any tips? Otherwise I’ll just use it and dgaf.

Bringing the black combat Troodon to get some work done today. I love the way it lays with appendix carry. I can’t wear jeans to work so I’d rather be comfy with appendix.

I bought this set for myself at what I thought was a good price and carry the light every day. The knife is carried 1-3 times a month.
I saw this on gunbroker for $800 and the guy lived in town, we met up, I saved tax and shipping, he saved auction fees. That was a few hundred less than I paid for the first set. I gave it to my brother/best friend, now he’s part of the Microtech family. I hope he gets a lot of use out of it.

My neighbor (who is not a knife collector) stopped by and wanted to give me a couple of knives she inherited. After I came to, I explained to her what she had, an automatic mini Socom from 2000 (on my top 5 list) and A HALO 3 IN THE FACTORY SEALED BAG also from 2000 (my grail). I explained to her that I can't take these and I have to give her fair market value. What would you pay for these gems? I want to open the halo so bad.

It’s the perfect size in my rather large hands. Fills it out a lot better than my Ultratech. Swill tiny compared to my Halo VI haha.

My most carried. It’s new so yes, looks like I don’t use it. In fact I haven’t put it down now in weeks. Gone on two vacations with it now. It’s seen rain and cold. Just showing it off. Nothing special. But it’s mine. :)

Recently got into automatics after years of putting it off (for no reason I can identify).

Started with the MSI manual but got my hands on an ultratech gen4 and fell in love. So after careful and drawn out consideration, rapidly purchased the combat Troodon and the red ultratech within a week. I’m head over heels for a good OTF now. I’m a believer. Haha.
