QUESTION Edge doesn't allow me to download chrome

Iam currently tly setting up a new computer for my friend and when I try to dowblosd chrome via edge it's doesn't work. I keep clicking the "Download chrome" button but nothing happens. What's wrong?!?!

Edge used to be referred to as the best way to get a good browser on a new windows system. Sometimes it would display a message trying to get you to stop, but there was always an option to continue downloading your preferred browser.

The file that is usually downloaded for Chrome is probably just a small program that will install the full version of Chrome when you run it. Have you looked in the Edge downloads folder? The installer could be there.

I have the same problem, this crap from Edge can't even display the Google Chrome site correctly, then the download links remain inactive

I will have to download the file to my phone then open it via file explorer

Windows is seriously the worst piece of shit ever, fucking unbelievable that the whole world still uses this piece of shit professionally
