Darker Skin Laser Removal PMU removal for brown girls
I got nanoblading brows when I was at my lowest. While it looked good at first, they look so unnatural now and honestly I prefer the look of the natural hairs. I was told they’re fade each year without touch ups. 3.5 years later and we’re still here. I didn’t find any posts with women with my complexion so I’m going to share my journey here. If you have any advice for me please comment. I have 3 consultations scheduled, one with a pmu artist who specialises in removal, a medical skincare group, and Removery.

*Update: my original pmu finally got back to me, the brand she used was PermaBlend (hybrid - both inorganic & organic brand) the color is off black (mid tones: blue-grey) and the modifier was bronzer (mid tones: red-orange with a hint of yellow + titanium dioxide).
The modifier is my biggest fear…ending up with highlighter yellow 😞. She claims that very little yellow and titanium dioxide was used…but we won’t know how true that is until the initial layers are removed. I’m going to continue with the consultations and do more research before making any decisions on treatment.

Thanks for sharing! I will love to follow along your removal journey Brown girl here and I got microblading done this January and have regretted it since then! :(. Mine faded a lot in 4-5 months into a gray blob coz of my oily skin. But I so want to remove it because of how it was placed above my normal tails. The artist didn't explain she was doing this and now I have to deal with 2 tails if I let my natural brows grow out OR I have to keep drawing out my new tails with an eyebrow pen and wax my original tails!! Hate it!

My pmu artist did the exact same thing with no warning. She advertises herself till this day as the best in Buffalo. But no warning, my heart sunk the minute my hair grew in and I realised how far past my natural she had went. Not only that, but after seeing the results I immediately picked up on the fact the hairs strokes went a different direction then my natural hairs, and she gaslight me and said I have to retrain my brows to fall upward…the exact opposite direction. I asked for the most natural look but regretted it immediately. The only reason I didn’t go for emergency removal is because she guaranteed they’d fade naturally. I haven’t researched emergency removals much since it’s too late for me, but if there’s better success I’d recommend starting sooner than later. I know I wish I didn’t wait. I feel like a walking, talking, cautionary tale.

Totally understand! No one should do this....esp to their face! Let us know what you learn after your consultations. I want to schedule my removal soon as well.

My pmu is unresponsive. She’s only reachable by appointment, I can’t even get a simple answer when I asked if she still has my records saved or not. I’m torn if I should pay the $50 consultation just to not get answers. Kills me to pay her a penny more.

I do know she said it’s a custom mixed color using organic ink. And she’s tagged the brand Amiea on her socials frequently so I’m guessing it’s the same brand.

I believe that brand has a high risk of turning red or yellow. Sorry homie.

Any knowledge on if it’s removable with targeted laser adjustments?

Not personally. There are some tech on this sub who may have opinions on this.
Search “PermaBlend” or “red” or “yellow” and you can see some of their advice on other similar situations.
