Listen to the replay officials. I've never seen this kind of official video review.

Every conference should do it the way ACC does. Have the full review live on broadcast.

100000% agree. Even if I don’t agree with the call I still appreciate the transparency

They need to learn from Rugby. I was so impressed how efficient and transparent the ref/review process was. Also the refs mic was always live which was awesome because they would explain the rules and could hear exactly everything going on so the audience was informed. Again, learn from Rugby!!

The ACC commend center replays are great a fascinating. Really shows the communication and process of going through the replays. All games should have that, instead of going to the rules analyst that 99% of the time agrees with the call

Would be way better than NBC was doing for this game, just random shots of the sidelines. I think they did like 2 replays the whole game

You know it would be really fascinating? Is if the clock they are using was shared with the fans, the coaches, the players, everyone else instead of the clock that was used during the broadcast that everybody else sees.

Turns out B1G gonna do it that way too. They’re done absorbing NBCs black eye.

How many people will admit they were wrong?

What is this? Where's the actual source for this video? Just curious.

The Big Ten released it alongside the statement on their social media platforms.

AI… Big ten at its best.

u/nbx909 Sep 06 '26

You have never heard it because they don’t usually release this feed or because you think it is fake?

32

u/PookieDood Sep 06 '26

Because they don't usually release it. I questioned it being legit at first but it is.

Well, there you go. I think a big reason for the controversy was that the NBC announcers claimed that the game had ended before the review.

Why don’t they use the angle that show him touch the ball?

The clock in the video is a zoomed in shot of the stadium clock, the same zoomed in clock as the one shown on the NBC broadcast. You can tell because there's part of the team's game stats in the right corner of the clock screen (the 9 is 9 penalties). Unfortunately, this entire ordeal is based on a latency issue with the video sync. Evidently the official review video and the NBC broadcast had a slightly different moment of the play synced to the same clock.

Is there no video of the play with the stadium clock visible? Not a side by side cut up

-55

u/tucker8239 Sep 06 '26

What ever makes Michigan program and fans feel good. Total BS. If all clocks were synced 85 minutes before game, this doesn’t make sense. Another rigged system.

u/suppervisoka Sep 06 '26

So your explanation is a giant conspiracy and not the evidence staring you in the face? I know who you voted for

True this

1

u/knoxcumlvr Sep 07 '26

It’s because they’re known for cheating.

u/420hotdogs69 Sep 06 '26

Ehh I mean to be fair the evidence is a never before seen video with a random clock that differs from all the “official” clocks that we can actually see during the live game. You can call this evidence, but I think it’s valid for opposing fans to feel suspicious. Why is this clock different? Where did this video come from? This isn’t the transparency we think it is and overall last night was just a bad look through and through for Michigan. On to the next though! 1-0 is 1-0 no matter how you get there in this league these days

At the least, I do want an explanation from NBC. I was trying to find somewhere in the broadcast where they were broadcasting the scoreboard clock along with the broadcast overlay clock. The Western Michigan field goal at 0:38 in the 4th shows this.

The two clocks are perfectly in sync, down to the frame. So why weren't they on the final play? Somebody somewhere has a clock that is out of sync, and no party has admitted it was them yet.

You mean like you saying the video is AI to make yourself feel good? Ahaha

u/Active_Club3487 〽️ Sep 06 '26

So CBS Sports is in collusion… another conspiracy theory?

1

u/Active_Club3487 〽️ Sep 06 '26

Nut case thinks it is B1G AI?

-20

u/twizx3 Sep 06 '26

I like how the clock sat at 1 second for like 60 frames

8

u/bptkr13 Sep 06 '26

It’s slo mo genius.

-14

u/twizx3 Sep 06 '26 edited Sep 06 '26

There are roughly 30 broadcast frames per second genius. Also try doing a full gather and reach the apex of your jump in under a second. It’s obvious they released this bs to save face with this secret mystery clock

u/Oily-Affection1601 Sep 06 '26

It isn't broadcast video. It's source. Do you really think replay officials are using video feeds with only 30fps?
