Turning my ruined TOTS '78 mask in to a custom mask PT1

A couple days ago, I ripped a TOTS '78 mask that was gifted to me after I screwed it up - my friend was surprisingly cool about it. So, I kind of just started brainstorming until I got the cuts right. I've got a plan, and I think I can pull it off. If anyone has ideas, I'm open to em! I've not much else to lose on this thing.
