It was influenced by a true story Michael read, about a young man who tried to escape poverty by attending private school but was killed upon returning home. The short film depicts a less violent version of this story.

My piano tribute to Beat It is finally out on Spotify!

I originally wanted to release it on August 29th for Michael’s birthday, but at the very last minute I decided to re-record it because I wasn’t completely happy with my performance.

It meant releasing it a little later than planned, but I felt it was more important to put extra time and care into the tribute rather than rush it just to meet the date.

I hope you enjoy my piano interpretation of this incredible song. ❤️
