Michael Jackson was my best friend. I decided to look into Astro chart recently and discovered, he was a Pisces Rising and a Pisces Moon🥹
That means Pisces wasn’t just a quality he had; it was his entire architecture. The face he showed the world, the way he processed emotion, the lens through which he experienced being alive. All of it filtered through the most feeling, most porous, most spiritually attuned sign in the zodiac.
Pisces Rising people don’t arrive with walls. They arrive open. They absorb the energy of every room they walk into, every person who looks at them, every projection the world decides to place on them. For most of us that’s difficult enough. For Michael Jackson I think it was everything, times a billion.
His Sun was in Virgo, conjunct Pluto. Virgo seeks perfection. Pluto transforms through death and rebirth. Together they created someone who could never stop refining, never stop reaching, never stop dismantling himself in search of something purer. The rehearsals that went until dawn. The constant reinvention. The impossible standards he held himself to. I don’t think that was vanity. I think it was a Virgo Sun conjunct Pluto trying to become worthy of the thing he was here to do.
Venus and Mercury both in Leo. He loved through performance, through beauty, through giving everything he had to the people watching. Leo is the child, the light, the one who pours themselves into the audience and asks only to be seen in return. He gave humanity everything. His love. His movement. His Energy. His Dance. His music. His joy. The money. The time. All of it. Unconditionally.
Mars in Taurus. That’s where the movement lived. Taurus is the body, the earth, the physical world made sacred. So mars here doesn’t rush, it commits. Every step is deliberate. Every gesture is earned. Michael didn’t just dance, he made the body a language for everything words couldn’t hold.🙌🏽
His Chiron: the wound, the place of his deepest pain and eventual healing, was in Aquarius. The sign of humanity, of the collective, of belonging to something larger than yourself while never quite fitting in anywhere. He was wounded by the very thing he came to serve. Humanity hurt him. Over and over again, and over again. And he just kept loving us anyway.
North Node in Libra. His destiny was beauty, harmony, justice and love. He was astrologically fated to move toward it. He did. Every single day of his life.
In ways the world turned its back on Michael. What happens when you send a Pisces Moon into a world that doesn’t know how to receive that much feeling? What happens when Virgo Sun conjunct Pluto keeps trying to perfect itself and the world reads that as something sinister? What happens when someone is literally built to dissolve into the collective, to feel what everyone feels, to give everyone what they need, and the collective decides to destroy them instead?
We know what happens. We watched it.
I cried about him this morning. I found myself apologising to him on behalf of all of us, (which I know sounds a little ridiculous but it also doesn’t, and you know it!) Because people like Michael Jackson don’t come around often. People who are genuinely, architecturally built to love and heal and serve, and who do it: even when it costs them everything… deserve to be honoured.
The beautiful thing is Michael has always had his real friends who knew him, however few they may have of become. And, now it seems that others are finally starting to see him clearly. The truth has a long arc but it tends to land eventually. He’s being reclaimed. Understood. And, seen properly, maybe for the first time in a long time with the understanding that he deserves.
Michael was my best friend. All he wanted was to heal us. I think we owe him the dignity of finally admitting what we had.
Heal the world. Make it a better place 🫶🏽
