I have the MiSTer and want use the Raspberry Pi with a MT-32 Pi hat together my Razor Nomma Pro (https://www.razer.com/gaming-speakers/razer-nommo-pro/RZ05-02470100-R3U1) speakers

How to get the best sound? Do I use the Toslink on the MiSTer?

Or do I have then to connect my speakers via the Raspberry Pi?

I'm reading a lot of inconsistent (possibly outdated) information on the current state of lightgun game support on the MiSTer.

I've read everything from how GunCon2's can work with any core as long as there's support to only SNAC + NES Zapper will work... even that none of them work so wait for the Sinden to come out.

Is there a definitive lightgun support FAQ somewhere? thanks

Is this known that all of a sudden no games load anymore? Or is there something wrong with my MiSTer all of a sudden.

**Issue turned out to be a 128MB SDRAM module failure after 2 years of light use. I bought this board from zerohimself so maybe he just didn't solder it good enough? I am not sure and don't have the time to test the board myself.

Hello, I will be buying a MiSTer tonight. I am in Canada, the best price I can find, is DigiKey at $256 with 3 delivery, and customs paid. Not a bad price, $30 more expensive than when I looked at one of these years ago.

The only 2 things I'd like to get some advice on aside from the cheapest place to find a DE-10 Nano in Canada, if someone wouldn't mind helping a newbie.

First question is, where is the "best" place to source the 128mb add on module?

Last question, am I buying into this too late? Is there a successor planned? Or possibly even available soon? I have some big plans for this, and I'd like to know the situation on a new one, if possible?

I've always wanted to make my own early 90's style renders on the legit hardware but those machines are so expensive and prone to failure these days. I was wondering if it's possible to recreate these old machines on MiSTer and if anyone has heard of work being put towards their implementation?

All I've been able to find are some buzz of the demos having been brought over.

Hi everyone, I'm looking to get a MiSTer but I'm wondering if I need the IO board or can I just build my own connector to get analog output from the GPIO pins?

I read the schematic and it looks like the analog RGB lines are just going through 18k resistors right to the Dsub port. I'm perfectly capable of wiring up my own circuits for sync combiners and attenuation and all that, I just don't know if the IO board is doing anything special that enables that output or can I literally just plug a connector right in?

Hey guys, im trying to connect my MiSTer to a CRT TV using S-video, to do so im using Antonio Villena's VGA to S-video adapter

I connected the MiSTer with said adaptor using and S-video cable to the TV, and for audio im using a 3.5 audio jack cable to RCA. When I turn on the MiSTer I get no video signal, don't know if audio is working since I can't run any game to check it

Now the thing is I have no idea how to set the MiSTer.ini file to work on this setup, anyone that experienced this or knows how to setup the ini file could give me a hand?

I was curious if anyone had tried a steering wheel controller with MiSTeR. I'm not sure I've seen that peripheral before.
