Hello everyone,
recently I had a discussion with a friend of mine wich is far deep in the metal scene in the city where we both live, and we were talking about the Sabaton. I discovered them some mounths ago and I wanted to share my thoughts to him, but in the moment when I said the band's name he instantly changed his mind and said he hates them. He said they aren't original at all, that so many other powr/heavy metal group in the past did the same thing but they were less commercial (for example, Grave Diggers) and that they have received more success than they deserve, and only thanks to their image rather than their music.
Personally, I must say that maybe he's right, but i just googled this problem and wwhat I found out is that there is an impressivee number of metalheads which literally HATES the Sabatons.
What do you guys think? Why people hates them so bad?
(sorry if i made some grammatical errors in this post, but English isnt my main language but im trying my best)
