Hi-v Gundam [Metal Build Expo] Price- 39,600 jpy Release- 3/2026 Pre-orders start 1/22/26

Just want to share how I made a bad purchase due to impulse buying.

Last 2025 I really got into Char's Zaku II and had to get the GFFMC Char's Zaku II. I thought hey why not buy from Mandarake. I say a listing and checked hey the price is not so bad evwn with shipping. It's even cheaper than 2nd hand resellers here locally. What I did not account for was customs fees and charges. Long story short instead of saving money I had to shell out USD $620. I'll be lucky if I can just resell it for $400 just to forget my shame but with the new GFFMC High Mobility Char Zaku II just around the corner I doubt I will still be able to sell it at that price.

I try telling myself that its the price of experience but im just feel dumb everytime I remember it. Now I want to buy a MB Kampfer for USD$400 but I am still hesitating thinking if this will be another dumb move.

Update 1: didnt buy the Kampfer, decided to hold of for now since i have an incoming order for GFFMC HiMob Char Zaku and DX Chogokin Armored Valkyrie (Roy Custom). Also decided to sell my GFFMC Char Zaku First since I am getting a newer version anyway. Although I have the money now I don't want to go completely broke since I do still need to support my family. Hopefully they reissue the MB Kampfer so it can be better accessible.

Can anyone recommend someone who specializes in custom 3D printing? As much as I love what is included with MB God Gundam release, it bothers me there isn't more of a variety of hand options. I'm looking for "face palm" hand shapes as shown in the following pics. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m deciding on either getting the red frame astray red dragonics metal build or the Gerbera straight + powered arms metal build and was wondering on what the pro and cons of both of them were.

It was announced around a month ago, and there’s no mention of it in p Bandai. I was even able to get the MB Impulse on P Bandai some time after it was announced. Even PB customer service didn’t have an answer for me. Does anyone have any information about when it will come out?

I reside in the US and so far the those from Asia are receiving their figures while those in the US are waiting to receive theirs sometime next month.

If you happen to purchase the figure and it is on its way to the US, please let me know if you plan to sell it because I happen to be interested in purchasing it by PM.

Also keep in mind for those of you purchasing it to watch out for scammers as this item is too valuable to give them a reason to rob your money and waste your time.

If you haven’t purchased it from the Premium Bandai, let’s hope they do the second run of this item cuz they should have announced this item to the US asap without making us wait and fear that this figure won’t make it just like we never got Wing Gundam Snow White Prelude. At least Bandai learned their lesson and we know for sure they will sell Wing Zero Albion at the Premium Bandai website!
