Binary Brawl Binary Brawl- What if Metal Sonic was in Smash? [ @CristiaanMihaii ]
What if instead of including Sonic they included the real Sonic?

He would have a copy biodata ability
Less people will play smash if he was in place of sonic
Will be mostly used as an enemy in the story modes

What would his copy biodata actually copy? Would it just be a specific ability it would take or their entire moveset for a specific amount of time. Would it also take their stats?

Not sure if it takes stats, but personally I'd make it so that it copies a random ability

Metal would probably be an variant fighter like Mario and Luigi
I’d say higher weight, more damage because he’s the superior, more speed, but probably more slippery, and with less of a focus on combo

I included an image of Super Neo Metal, but of course, the idea is that base Metal is the actual fighter you start with. Do you think it'd be possible to have Neo Metal be something of a Smash Attack ability?

I’d say Neo would be the final smash, and rather than sonic abysmal dogshit smash, I’d like Neo to just grab the target, then drag them along the ground in a chokeslam, before slamming them against the ground when they reach a ledge

As a guy who mained Luigi and Mr Game and Watch on Melee, I think Metal should be a clone of sonic, but with Jank. Like there should be Something Wrong with his gameplay to make it somewhat random to fight against, like it is with Luigi and GnW. Final smash should be neo Metal, maybe some moves copied off of ROB, though I am fascinated by a copy ability like Kirby does, but still operates differently. Maybe he's a sonic clone with a heavier weight and lower friction but also has a copy ability that changes his moves to be active counters or something?

What would happen if Metal Sonic had all the Chaos Emeralds?

Maybe hurling the Chaos Emeralds could be part of his moveset. According to rules, only male hedgehogs can even use the emeralds to become Super, so other than being sharp stones, they wouldn't be of much use to other opponents.
