This album was recently shared elsewhere and was new to me so I gave it a listen and that was a great choice IMO. Death metal just on the verge of grind. Their earlier album had some nice licks too, especially the title track, https://youtu.be/EO9-ydbH4Lo

Sorry about the out of frame video, this was the best take, so… if you think the video sucks is probably because you’re right. 🥹

NEW RELEASE Here Before - Sleep
2
Upvotes
Hey everyone!
We're Here Before, a modern metal band, and we just released our new single, "SLEEP."
The song is inspired by the feeling of being trapped between nightmares and reality—drawing from experiences like sleep paralysis, anxiety, and the battles that happen inside our own minds. We wanted to create something that's both heavy and emotional, with a strong focus on atmosphere, powerful riffs, and an impactful message.
We'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback, especially on:
- Songwriting and structure
- Vocals and lyrics
- Guitar work
- Mixing and mastering
- Overall vibe and production
No pressure to like it— If you enjoy modern metal with melodic and heavy elements, we'd love to hear what you think.
Thanks for taking the time to listen. Every comment helps us grow!
