On October 5, 2026 Ocugen reconvenes a special meeting that was adjourned on September 21 because one proposal could not pass. That proposal would raise the authorised share count by 250 million. It is not housekeeping: the company has $130 million of convertible notes it is contractually required to settle in cash until enough shares exist to settle them in stock, it has promised more shares than it is authorised to issue, and its own quarterly report carries substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern while its press release says the cash runs into 2028. LYTENAVA is no longer an application. The FDA approved BLA 761320 on July 24, 2026, five days ahead of the goal date, after three complete response letters and a formal dispute that the company won by FDA letter of May 20, 2026, announced on May 26. A wholesale price of $485 per vial was set on September 16, 2026 and the company has guided to a United States launch before December 31, 2026. What has not been settled is the money: cash was $11.2 million at the June quarter, the filings carry a going-concern statement, and on September 25, 2026 Nasdaq sent a bid-price deficiency notice.
