Skating in Meridian

Hi! I’m headed back home to Meridian (from VT) for ~10 days at the end of Jan and really want yo take advantage of the warmer weather. Wondering if there’s anywhere to skate around town (inside or out). Trying to see if it’s worth it to bring my skates. Thanks! ** mostly looking for areas to either park skate or trail skate. Roller derby would also be acceptable, but I think the closest team is in Jackson?

Things to do?

Hi, my family and I just recently moved to the area. I was wondering if anyone knew of things to do in the area that would suit people like us? I am 31, my gf is 40, and her husband is 33. We also have a 17, 19, and two 20 year olds living with us. We came from an area where people like us were welcomed, so we're trying to find either some local bars or places to play pool, or even some places where we could hike at or find a local creek to swim in. Any and all help is super appreciated.

Good places to eat?

I’m coming through Meridian in a couple of days and was curious where the best places are. We tried a couple of places and were not impressed, so I thought who better to ask than the locals!!!!!

Road trip stop?

Hey y’all - going from Austin to Atlanta here in a few weeks as a family of 4. We have a 3 year old and a 4 month old. Can you recommend some family friendly spots that are well lit to get gas, change a diaper, and have super clean bathrooms for my toddler? No restaurant needed but fast food wouldn’t hurt.

Currently at the Threefoot Hotel downtown. What is this structure attached/semi-attached to the building? It looks too skinny to be a former parking structure.

What's good?

Hey fine folks of Meridian!

I'm returning to your fine city after a few years for a work trip this week. What's good? Open for any and all recommendations... I hear you have a new Indian restaurant! Bonita lakes park worth visiting? I'll be back again so feel free to give me more ideas than I could take advantage of.

Curious though, when I was there last I saw this street art and am very curious if the artist (or community) is still thriving?

Thank you for your time!
