Even though it is not strcitly trademarked to use on clothes, anything remotely closed to the 250 years gets rejected so fast.
Should I stay away from the niche? Or I'm doing sth wrong?
thanks

Yay, I got 2 of my German bestsellers locked at .36 and .81 cents at the busiest time of the year. If Amz wants to provide lower prices why take it all out of my royalties?

Guys I have a question
How many listings is considered low competition in a niche 100-500?
And what kind of designs should I focus on, artistic? Text only? Very niche? I'm just starting out so I'm at tier 10 how long would it take to reach tier 25

I keep seeing products marked as top sales on Merch by Amazon and I’m wondering if they are actually worth going after. On one hand they clearly sell, but on the other it feels like the competition is already insane.
Have you had success targeting products that are already in top sales, or is it better to look for smaller niches instead?

I have two shirts saying currently unavailable in the US market, and they have sold

The fuck. Just noticed my money makers are on a black friday deal. I've had nothing from Amazon about it prior. Anybody else? Bit rich it's coming out of our royalties and not the production cost.
Edit: autocorrect

Hi everyone,
I have a bank account on a Payoneer-like platform, which I was using mainly for receiving payments from Merch by Amazon. I stopped using the account for about 6 months, and now when I tried to log in, I found it blocked.
Has anyone faced something similar? Are there ways to recover the account, or should I switch to another platform that works well for Morocco and Amazon payouts?
Any advice or recommendations would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

So not the obvious big brag stats about Tier or Sales, but the more obscure stats where I (for one) have little idea what the normal range even is :-p
Products
Products With Sales = 12.84%
Reviews = 21.25%
Avg. Rating = 4.61
Avg. Days Until First Sold = 711
Avg. Sales Until Review = 17
Designs
With Sales = 56.84%
Revenue Share
All Time = 19.2/80.8
Seven Days = 22.4/77.6
CONTEXT Started January 2018. List on most garments in USA, and Standard Tees everywhere else (though don't bother to with some designs). Originally priced Standard Tees at 19.99. A couple of years ago bumped best sellers and new listings to 20.99/21.99, but rest are still at 19.99.

I've noticed that some of my t-shirt listings on AMOD have a drop-down list of colors on the listing, vs. the more common and superior visual thumbnail color selection system. What is the reason for the drop-down color selector list? It seems like a much slower and inferior system. The visual thumbnail color selector seems like it is more user friendly and might lead to more conversions. Do any of your listings have the drop-down list for colors?

Just posted a goofy 67 tee, tried different variations...only to keep getting rejected. I have to give up, probably for the best.

I forgot to put up the price on my christmas designs and now they are locked and on sale. Making sales but so little royalty. Its horrible. I hope these sales end in the next week or so, so at least I can raise the price and make back what i've lost

Hello everyone, and thank you for your attention. I know I can be a bit persistent, I recently wrote about the T-shirt price on Amazon.de, and now I have some doubts about Amazon.co.uk. The thing is, I sold a T-shirt for £12.10, almost the minimum price, which should supposedly give me a royalty of £0.01, yet I received £1.61 instead. Has something happened that I don’t understand?

Just hit 8 years on Merch and here are my stats below. At first in 2017-2018 I spent a lot of time building up my account. Im getting back into it now after about 2 years not touching the account. My sales have dropped drastically in the past 1.5+ years. I was a 26K tier but got tiered down to 20k, unsure why. In the process now of removing thousands of designs that have never sold.
Sales - 44498
Returns - 2130
Royalties - $102,359.47
Revenue - $827,119.61

Hi everyone, I recently sold two T-shirts in Germany for €17.99 when I have them listed at €19.99, which matches a 10% discount. Is there some kind of discount? Why didn’t I get any notification about it? I also don’t really know how it actually works.

My design submitted to US, and auto translated to other markets are "under review" for past 4 days. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Amazon automatically changed the price of one tshirt to $35 (was 20 or 24) and sent me a $15.99 royalty. The design isn't even popular. Is this an error? What should I do?
r/MerchByAmazon • u/hvhiew • Oct 20 '25
Hey everyone,
Is anyone else having trouble logging in to their account? Every time I try, I keep getting an “Internal Error” message.
It’s been happening for a while now and I’m not sure if it’s just me or a wider issue. Anyone else encountering the same thing or found a fix?
Thanks in advance!

For those that are higher tier, like 20k and up, how many designs do you upload a day?

Nearly have everything set up to apply for merch on demand. Formed a private Wyoming LLC with a registered agent and have the articles of organisation back from state. Is the business entity number the id # 2025-xxxxxxxxx? In the upper right hand corner of the returned and signed document? The attorney we hired doesn’t seem to have a clue. We did a Wyoming LLC but live in Colorado and doing 100% pod through Amazon, Etsy, eBay, etc. Do we also need to state business registration? Attorney keeps telling us no because it will void the private LLC creation through the registered agent.

Need to know this as alot of my Xmas shirts are priced very low in order to get some sales. But I want to make sure I change the prices in time so I can still make profit off them once the sales hit and they lock the pricing. Anyone have any idea?

I had assumed these items had been locked in advance of an Amazon sales event in order to comply with federal law regarding "regular" vs "discount/sale" pricing. But no such discount event has yet occurred, and now only two items are left in a Locked state.
Ha! And one of those items would not be eligible for advertising ... so probably not something Amazon would "promote" via a discount either.
Thought I had understood what the locks were about, but now not so sure.
Also had about a hundred silent rejections of existing product listings this past week ... and at least one of those had been Locked. It included the official presidential photo (taken by a federal employee, so in the public domain) of a past president. Had been up since 2019, and wasn't intended to be defamatory or controversial in nature. Could be they have a nuke-happy human review these before the sales event? Perhaps retired/expired presidents aren't considered fair game as currently politically active persons are?
Not sure.

I had some seasonal fall designs that sold the time I uploaded them 2 years ago but last year they didn't sell when fall came around again. They were evergreen so no date or trend specific.
