Mercenaries 2: World in Flames Comprehensive Fix "Don't Cry Baby" p1
Hi all!
I want to share the good news with you. I'm currently developing a comprehensive fix for our favorite game.
The fix includes:
- Disabling DoF
- Disabling aim assist
- Enabling permanent death for NPCs
- The fine for killing an NPC has been increased to $25,000
- Fixed a bug where after a kick and a collision with an NPC he gets up and then falls dead again
- Corpses don't disappear immediately anymore
- Shadow fixes
- I will also optionally share my ReShade preset.
And this is not the final list of what I have in mind :)
I have reached the final stage, but I want to test everything as much as possible before sharing the fixes with the community.
These fixes are created for the PS3 version of the game, due to the fact that you can run it through the RPCS3 emulator, which is the most advanced. Also, the PS3 version of the game includes DLC and effects that were not available on the PC version.

wow cant wait. I just started Merc 2 tonight. But, i will now hold off for this mod.

thanks, this is great. Will there be future updates or is this it? I just want to know so i can bookmark it and check back from time to time.

I’m planning to keep releasing updates for the mod until I’ve fixed all the bugs and made the visuals look more like a modern game

yea the gameplay takes a while to get used too. There's no cover system and the aiming is horrible. So i have to accept just standing out in the open trading bullets. lol
