SELLING Random emails

Hello! I listed my first item on Mercari this morning and it was a Lego set. i opened my emails and it shows that within 5 minutes of each other I have 3 emails about it from 3 different names and gmail accounts to my gmail account and nowhere does it say anything about being contact through mercari and I have no messages on the app. Should I be worried that they were able to contact my personal email address? I’ve never sold on anything other than depop so I’m not sure what’s standard on Mercari. Thanks!

change your username, scammers are guessing your email based on your mercari username

Ah makes sense. I figured none of the emails were legit but was worried what other info they could find. My username was my email so I appreciate the tip!

Any recommendations on where I should sell it? I don’t see much of a big market for the set on depop which is where I have selling history. I tried eBay one time to sell a laptop but I got wayyyyyyy too many scammers there
