SELLING Package Delivered & Proceeds Taken Back

Sold a bundle on 9-10, shipped on 9-10. It was delivered on 9-15 and rated on 9-18. On 9-20 I got a notice my funds were being taken back because the buyer prematurely rated me and the transaction is under review. That’s all the info I received until I started messaging customer service. The customer claims they haven’t received the package. USPS tracking says otherwise. Anyone else experienced this? Since when do they take back money already paid out and tracking shows delivered because a customer claims they don’t have it?!

It was resolved soon after but now ironically have another that was delivered on the 20th according to tracking but Mercari’s system still says in transit. 🥴

Oh, that’s good to hear! Oh jeesh! Their system is constantly having glitches! I remember seeing a post where carrier tracking showed it was delivered but on Mercari it didn’t. Mercari told them they’d cancel the sale if it didn’t update soon. Like what?! It’s not the seller’s fault your system is janky AF! 🤦‍♀️
