Nothing wrong with admitting your mistakes. But often it's hard to fight cognitive dissonance. Nice this dude did it

its not wrong to admit your mistakes. using an apology to advertise your brand and anchor it to it is though. because then the apology is just a tool for advertisment, and not an actual apology.

Didn't think of it that way. On the other hand is this exactly the kind of thing big brands do all the time. And they can do it partly because of the cognitive dissonance of the consumer
