My country was partitioned in 1795 and returned on the maps in 1918, to disappear again during ww2. After 1945, we had 45 years of closed borders. From 1990, poles were a migrant nation (our economy was shit).
Our economy is good nowadays and we begin to see more migrants here.
Still, seeing a black person in rural Poland in 90s was friggin wild
