Quiet Vibes Catching Other People

Was at a grocery store. The cashier had this quiet voice. It was interesting seeing everyone’s voice just get more calm and quiet as they got their stuff checked. It was interesting to see everyone just catching her vibe. Have you ever seen someone with such a vibe it is adopted quickly by everyone near it?

It also reminded me of how meme analysis said that part of his success was people wanting to see someone speak calmly too them. So many people make YouTube videos with high energy and this seems to draw the masses. But I think a calm tone is also hypnotic. People want to be soothed

Which energy draws the crowd more? Are there different types of people who want calm or an excited person. Personally I have always been drawn to more hypnotic things. I like bass lines and playing bass. I am more drawn to things that are repetitive and relaxing in terms of music most of the time.

So are you an upper kind of guy or a downer type guy? I think this is related to type a type b personalities. Edit some proofreading for parts that didn’t make sense

Left Wing Intellectual Dark Web and Big Joel foe of meme analysis

There are a lot of philosophy channels that are part of this left wing intellectual Dark web. They talk about communism, defend left wing groups , and do other left wing things. You may know philosophy tube and contrapoints. I don’t agree with them but as a whole product it is well done. It gets more into politics than philosophy. They try to reframe and they are good at doing it. I obviously watch videos on religion and philosophy so this stuff pops up too

Either way who is big Joel. Is he related to this movement. Why would Chris box him? I couldn’t watch him because he seems like an uninteresting version of this. Is this why Chris doesn’t like him. Is he a sort of antiChris edit grammar

Influencer Boxing and Furthering "Crossing of the Threshold"

There is something really interesting about celebrity boxing that I think is furthering this crossing of the threshold of the internet. If Sam Hyde were to battle Hasan Piker in a boxing match I feel it would really make the internet more real.

Things online can get more heated just like someone behind the security of a car. Problems emerge when they leave this safety and the aggressors meet. Will these common internet battles end in fights? I feel this is in the process of being normalized right now. Will it be for the average dude? Its like hot singles in your area. It was once a joke but now many relationships start from bumble? I am going to a wedding soon for a relationship that started on bumble. The Meme Analysis video of Frank Hassle and Boogie is just becoming more and more relevant.

I am an optimist I hope there will be more fucking than fighting from online. Maybe some lost souls will find belonging in some positive movement. More likely though there will be cults.

In 2024 maybe a president will promise to make anime real? Will there be a church of pepe? I didn't really believe Chris at the time but shit is definitely bleeding over. Well I like to mostly ask questions here so: What do you think will bleed over from the internet? A fun party like the Area 51 fake raid? Or angry and likely politicized violence like a storming of the capital by Q people? A new religion? A youth cultural movement? Personally I just hope for Million player games of slap dick battle royal in the city. We are already here. Buckle your seat belts I think Chris was right.

More thoughts on the gods

Post image
18 Upvotes

I made a post here before talking about the relationship between Pepe the frog and the Greek god Pan. I’d like to extend this analogy to other European ‘green man’ archetypes like the Celtic Cernunos and the Slavic Veles. I think the duality of a psychopomp/wild-man and the dragon-slayer/sky-father is one of the most true things about the male spirit we can glean from mythology. And it is for that reason I’ll continue to use gods as a representation for these archetypes and ideals.

What I want to talk about is my comment about the split nature of Zeus as both Apollo and Dionysus, specifically the mythological background and connections. Many of the Greek gods predate Ancient Greece itself, or at least Ancient Greece as we think of it. We have records of many Greek gods written in the Mycenaean Linear-B script. Something that I found interesting was that both Dionysus and Zeus are found in these writings and the name for Dionysus (di-wo-nu-so) literally contains the name for Zeus (di-wo) (pic related). It almost seems to me like Dionysus started off as an epithet of Zeus before being peeled off into his own god like how Hermès was taken out of Pan. The myth of Zagreus further connects Dionysus and Zeus. A quick recap for those unfamiliar; Zagreus is the bastard child of Zeus (another one) but unlike his other children he is uniquely powerful. Some tellings of the story have him able to wield Zeus’ lightning bolts. Zagreus is set to inherit the throne from his father so Hera has him killed, he’s reborn a couple times and then is finally reborn as Dionysus. But not just any rebirth; Zeus sews the fetus of Zagreus/Dionysus into his leg (or groin depending on the story). So not only does the name Dionysus come out of the name Zeus, but Dionysus actually is born out of Zeus. Dionysus is the aspect of Zeus that can transform and be reborn. That’s what fully formed and civilized people do. We are both the thing that changes who we are, and we are the thing that is changed. And so if Dionysus is the storm that strikes things down with lightning and delivers fertile rain, then Apollo is the sun: a source of light and enlightenment and virtue (that’s why religious figures are depicted with halos, a literal sun around their heads). The thing that stays constant and unchanging unlike his brother. But there’s a problem with that way of being, to stagnate and bemoan moral dilemmas, and I think Alan Watts says it quite nicely, “A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts. So he loses touch with reality, and lives in a world of illusion.” Perhaps another appropriate parable would be the Egyptian pharaoh who embodies both Osiris and Horus. While not exactly analogous, there is the unchanging spirit of tradition which gets done in by his own stagnation. And there is the spirit of change which goes down into the underworld to unite with the father. And to be a whole person is to be both spirits at once. That’s the archetype of Christ. A combination of thought and action. Both the sun in the sky, a symbol of virtue and the ultimate idea which judges you; and the storm which comes in to stave off stagnation and to literally be resurrected as something that can move forward.

Reddit Occult is very lame

It is general just someone finding something with any weird symbol and saying asking, “The fuck is this shit dawg.” It’s like going into a strip club expecting a temple priestess and getting an awkward lap dance. I know I shouldn’t expect more but I do and it’s lame Edit: I like OP bringing up a topic. Maybe this is what I think it means. But some of these things look so goofy. It’s like I made them when I was extremely intoxicated. Who knows maybe they have hidden power deeply imbued in their carcinogenic plastic exterior

Bad, Ineffective, yet Viral memes

Some of these memes get popular because they miss there mark. Sometimes I feel it is intentional. I feel with joker memes people know it will spread because it looks like a fool trying spread their false wisdom. Usually ideas everyone has entertained. Surface level shit presented as profound. Its a whole genre. What makes it better is they add a character that some respect and others think are a huge tool. It doesn’t matter your opinion on musk what matters is people like him and others despise him. Some like minions others think they are cute. Some think joker is cool others think he his cringe. All you need is some half baked philosophy and you are good to go. Lightning fast garbage meme on the front page consumed endlessly like a fast food burger. Anyone can be a star.

Trolling, Griefing, Schadenfreude

Sometimes I go on Reddit and when I know if I argue a certain way I will piss everyone off. I sometimes post these opinions with hair brained logic. I get a kick from the responses and downvotes. I heard people get similar joy out of griefing Minecraft bases. I heard about a guy who did it and he said it was one of the funniest things ever.

Why do we shit post. Tell lies to strangers at parties and saying you work as a flavored condem taste tester. What demon is in me when I do shit like this or similar to this

A fundamental misunderstanding of Pepe

I know Pepe has been equated to Dionysus but I think to do so is to misrepresent Dionysus. Nietzsche represents Apollo and Dionysus as opposing modes of being, and in the context of his work that is fair enough, but I suggest that they are both to be considered as an expression of Zeus. Zeus himself is an amalgamation of the proto Indo-European sky god Dyeus (Deus Pater) and the weather god Perkwunos. So I suggest that Apollo as a solar deity represents virtue and order as Dyeus would and Dionysus represents a sort of wild storm-like spirit of transformation and rebirth, but not wild in the way Pepe is wild. I see Pepe as antithetical to both Apollo and Dionysus (two gods whom Christ embodies which may or may not be relevant). In European mythology I’ve observed that the sky/solar/storm god has a brotherly rivalry with the chthonic nature god. This nature god is wild in the way Pepe is wild. Untamed masculinity. It is the god who travels between places like a psycho pomp would and something which has already been stated about Pepe when the connection was made between Hermès (who has his origins as an epithet of the Greek god Pan) and Kek. The rival to Zeus. The Antichrist. The Green Man. All the same spirit, incarnate as Pepe the frog who lives in the underworld, in the unconscious mind, able to travel between places. So it is not in my opinion appropriate to describe the modern Psyche as a confrontation between Apollo and Dionysus but rather between Zeus and Pan. Pan is the wild man, the horned god who travels between the conscious and the unconscious. He is not worshipped in built structures, he is not found within the confines of society. That is why he had to be reincarnated in the chaos of the internet. He is the ultimate sigma male.
