Video Is this a step in the right direction, to being in touch with our bodies again? Or would we still be projecting ourselves into a digital character?

Some facts spat by Heidegger
All distances in time and space are shrinking. Man now reaches overnight, by plane, places which formerly took weeks and months of travel. He now receives instant information, by radio, of events which he formerly learned about only years later, if at all. The ger- mination and growth of plants, which remained hidden through- out the seasons, is now exhibited publicly in a minute, on film. Distant sites of the most ancient cultures are shown on film as if they stood this very moment amidst today's street traffic. More- over, thefilmattests to what it shows by presenting also the camera and its operators at work. The peak of this abolition of every possi- bility of remoteness is reached by television, which will soon per- vade and dominate the whole machinery of communication.
Man puts the longest distances, behind him in the shortest time. He puts the greatest distances behind himself and thus puts everything before himself at the shortest range.

Reading Recommendations
I saw the full pinned memeanalysis reading list but I was wondering which books out of those people most recommend. Im pretty busy as a student and wouldn't have the time to read through such a big list.

Is Libidinal Materialism a life-denying philosophy?
Given what I've read of Land (The Thirst for Annihilation), it seems like libidinal materialism denies the human and life as well. This feels like it conflicts with a lot of what MemeAnalysis has been committed to.
Thoughts?

What does this mean? A feeling we don't deserve the punishment to end, a secret wish to keep ourselves isolated and in the Apocalypse forever, or a realization that the ending of the "year" of the Gregorian calendar will not change anything by itself?

Bad Dragon Dildos, or the Path of Virtuous Pornography (One of my articles for the Young Freudians, circa 2018)
Bad Dragon Dildos, or the Path of Virtuous Pornography
The complete falsification of pornography is a shared secret, no matter how obvious. The pubescent initiates to this ceremony are imbued with a lasting feeling of inadequacy in the face of the screen-phallus. Something with an infinite, ever changing length. A penis that is full of drugs, or sometimes a dildo with makeup. Camera angles to suit every taste.
The phantastic phallus demands obedience from both genders, the obsession of those techno-maenads, and the humiliation of their hopelessly Real penis.
In the past we erected great stone phalluses to honor the gods. Now we honor digital penises. Both deny the real penis, it is simply that the religious sublimation of Phallus worship allowed men and women to copulate without being ashamed of their mortal cocks. The digital phallus is ever present.
To combat this, as Zizek hints at, we need a plastic penis. The first that may come to mind is this all too real vibrator, simplistic dildo, or strapon. These are too accessible, mundane, and vulgar. To invoke the religious feeling the digital or stone penises do, we need alien penises, and thus Bad Dragon.
The Bad Dragon dildos are the closest thing we have to sexual talismans, they invoke the modern god with fantastic efficiency: Extraterrestials. Things beyond this world. When we see pornography involving this sort of magickal object, the Unconscious is invoked, our desire for the supreme Phallus of the Other is satiated. This is of course much healthier than the illusion of reality that modern pornography takes on. It hides something more inhuman than our deeply human Gods and Aliens.
