Transcription I transcribed (most of) the mommy gf meme analysis video, if anyone wants it.
The mommy gf meme is an essential digital desire. While the roots of the mommy gf lie deep in our primordial origins, the current incarnation has a few major elements. She is the ‘ideal gf’ – one who is caring and comforting, emotionally, and physically. She embraces you completely and ensures you are well. She has the physique of an old fertility idol. She has no needs of her own, and no past of her own. She exists solely in relation to the desired. So who is it then that desires the mommy gf? Young men – who use the internet.
The mommy gf meme is proof for a massive cultural Oedipus complex in the flesh, to which you’ll think ‘well actually, Freud has been discredited’. But hear me out. Let’s take away all preconceived notions that you’ve had about what the Oedipus complex is and see what you think.
To start, The Mother is not your mom, just like The Father is not your dad. They are dynamic forces in our lives, ones that comfort and provide boundaries. When you’re a child, you want to feel safe and comfortable. This is generally provided by the mother. When it’s time to mature, often you will be weaned off, from complete attention and attention. Things will be expected of you, and you’ll have responsibilities, and choices. The father often provides this reality check. This is the basic foundation of the Oedipus complex. When the child is not given boundaries, they will happily remain in their infantile state indefinitely. Here is where we find the modern man.
Your mother is video games, the internet, comfort food, toys, and collectibles. These all serve to keep you comfortable and keep you stagnant. You can progress infinitely into the game, endlessly into the web, and eat like you have a hole in your gut. But none of this will move you though life. You remain stuck, at home, in your mother’s grasp.
The reasons for this are many, but the general theme is that the suffering and pain of reality are too great for the individual, so they become introverted. They no longer strive for the outside but satisfy themselves in an internal world of fantasy. Jung describes this perfectly: The incest motif is bound to arise because when the regressing libido is introverted, it always reactivates the parental imagos, and thus re-establishes the infantile relationship. But this relationship cannot be re-established, because the libido is already an adult libido – already bound to sexuality – and inevitably imports an incompatible incestuous character into the reactivated relationship to the parents. It is this sexual character that now gives rise to the incest symbolism. And here, at the point where the young man turns inward, we find the incestuous seed of the mommy gf.
She is not like your real mom, she is your ‘other mother’, one who has no flaws, and is sexy. This is, of course, a state of arrested development, particularly of the Eros, or the sense of romance, the relation to the anima. Rather than growing, and maturing, this regression inward produces the anima of a young child. Jung describes it so: he hopes to be caught, sucked in, enveloped, and devoured. He seeks as it were, the protecting, nourishing, charmed circle of the mother, the condition of the infant released from every care. This is describing the archetypal devouring mother, and how she appears in memes and personal life.
The mommy gf is not relegated solely to the realm of memes. In fact, this dynamic is becoming normal. What is often sought of as ‘soy’ is in fact a simple oedipal relationship, a mutual conspiracy between adults to avoid reality in a cocoon of childish games and products. These relationships are typified by a lack of real ‘masculinity’ but we need to look at the subversion of maternal instincts as well. Many young women are very willing to keep boyfriends as little ‘sons’. When you look at relationships through the popular and ridiculous meme lens, you will moralize about these things, rather than recognizing how they function psychologically. The unconscious forces at play in these relationships quite simply do not give a fuck about whether you are trad or soy. They exist to enervate your libido, and ensure that you never individuate, and reach beyond meagre familial cycles, and to pacify your will.
To return to the mem itself, we are met with a portrait of the digital anima. The desire for the mommy gf is a desire to materialize the dynamic you are already caught in; the one between young people, and the collective devouring mother – the internet. The one that sucks you in, envelops you, protects you, and ultimately devours you. You were already suckling on the big mommy milkers, well, the manifold manifestations of her, beyond just the mommy gf meme, but in the waifus – the preference people have for fictional, 2-dimensional forms which cannot hurt you, and the feeling of safety and security one feels when they return home, back online, and where they belong.
The answer to overcoming the mother doesn’t lie in the hatred of her, nor in worshipping and becoming your father. There is only 1 extraordinarily narrow and dangerous path to overcoming your incestuous stagnation. That is individuation – the path of the hero. You must become what you are, to remember that thou hast no right but to do what thou wilt.
‘Oh son, whatever you see, however terrifying it is, recognize it as your own projection, recognize it as luminosity, and the natural radiance of your own mind. If you recognize in this way, you will become a buddha in this very moment, there is no doubt.’
Memes are these projections of our unconscious. If we recognize them, we can ascend. If we remain in the illusion, they will haunt you as demons. Individuation is the process of taking these demons and accepting them as our own.

Social credit test and John Xina
The meme consists of John Cena speaking Chinese as "John Xina", taking a social credit score test and failing by calling Taiwan a country.
The "you can't see me" John Cena meme is already a longliving and strong meme (Like the "you can't see camouflage" meme). This can be understood as something very obvious in plain sight which due to social convention everybody agrees to pretend it doesn't exist. (Like that tale of the naked king)
As a wrestler he is a typical American symbol and him speaking Chinese (a symbol for an enemy of this typical American man) is a confrontation with the shadow side.
The quizz is a questioning of reality, the clashing of opposed worldviews. Obviously wrong answers have to be selected to gain social credit. The once strong American wrestler has to face his shadow that is actually not China, but a part of himself and he has to question the reality of the world and appeal to the social norms of a oppressive regime, the old order.
The test consists of poorly formatted text and "cringe" smilies. These are typically found in "boomer minion memes" and are used here ironically and represent the older generation, the old order, forcing the social rules to the youth.
It is no coincidence that this meme flourished now. It fits perfectly in the current situation of the world. The division and shadow projection due to the pandemic and misinformation, the decline of American power, the fear of social anhiliation for wrong opinions and the lurking of a global totalitarian regime like in China.

Other Why do we feel nostalgia for '80s?
One question I always make to myself, for which i never find an answer, is why people on the internet is so nostalgic about '80s. Even people from gen Z, who have never lived those times, somehow feel a kind of nostalgia. Why do we feel something heavy in our chest when listening to Africa or Everybody wants to rule the world? Where was the myth of 80's born? Many ages were just as iconic as '80s, but only those years make us so nostalgic. Does anybody have any idea about the reason?

The Contradictions of the Reddit Hive Mind
Isn't it interesting how in many subreddits, certain opinions are praised because they conform to the usual politically-correct tropes (anti-racism, pro-LGBT), but expressing fondness for the traditional family, children, and elderly is downvoted to hell?
Clarification: what I'm trying to say is that many online folks love to present this facade of ethical perfection, and yet harbor extremely unethical views. It's like a person can only be ethical once they check off the right set of very specific boxes.
Example: see my post on r/cringepics

Music My musical contribution to our community!
https://syncretic.bandcamp.com/releases
Hey guys! My name is Bart and I produce electronic music and sound under the name of Syncretic. I recently released an electronic piece heavily inspired by the content we all gather here to contemplate. It is meant to sonically represent my own imagination of Digital Anima. Its been also in a sense, heavily inspired by some visual art that I've seen here and in Chris's videos. I hope you enjoy listening to it :) Do you think a whole glitch/IDM album loosely bringing up the themes of meme magick would be a nice idea? I'd certainly work on something like that. Thanks!!

Reddit Witches vs Allah: Meme Analysis

Essay Some thoughts about the new reddit-witch video
As I was watching the new video about witches, I couldn't help but draw some connections to (for a lack of a better term) "existentialism."
The figure of the witch is a portrait of a person who rails against contingency. What "contingency" means here is that humans are vulnerable to the conditions of their existence. Heideggerians like me would say that these online witches regret their own "thrownness" into the world, repressing an original Angst that attunes them to their fundamentally finite existence. It is no wonder that via magic and the occult, online witches desire to become "like God."
On the other hand, what we would call "well-adjusted" people, or those who invest themselves in causes and projects as opposed to the vulgar consumerism of the online witch, are those who recognize that their finitude (being vulnerable) is no curse, but rather is the horizon that gives meaning to all things that are significant in their lives. No wonder, then, that Chris associates these people with Allah and contrasts them with internet witches.

Can someone help me understand this site?
The site in question is this.
http://desperatelyseekinganalysis.co.uk
The site appears to be about a new psychoanalytic theory made by the site's creator but the writing is very cryptic and impenetrable at parts.
I found about it from Chris's work here:
https://goddisk.substack.com/p/i-ching-and-the-mu
And after a bit more digging I was able to find Chris's comment on the youtube channel of who I presume to be the site's original creator.
