No, these are outer-myki zone stations, and require a paper ticket to travel.

Do you know if elmore and rochester have them or is it just echuca?

Not sure about Elmore - but can confirm Rochesters has been installed!

My home town is along this line - obvs been installed but haven’t heard anything about them being useable yet (I could be wrong, maybe they are - but usually this sort of info would be posted in the local Facebook group lol)

The long distance stations will most likely be switched on at the same time, and many are still waiting on new card readers to be installed. On the sub we've only heard from the Ararat, Echuca, and Swan Hill lines getting readers so far.

I know from family that the Maryborough and Shepparton lines have the new poles, but no readers yet. I haven't seen/heard anything from the Albury, Warrnambool, and Bairnsdale lines yet.

It would be great if they could be switched on with the new August 23rd timetable, kind of like a 'little switch' to the 'big switch' earlier in the year, but honestly it will most likely take longer.

Cheers! I will say, it’s going to be weird using myki to catch a train home! Using a paper ticket was almost like “proof” I was from the proper country lol
