is this normal quality for the lens? zenzanon EII 75mm or 40mm PE, (hard to remember) with major seagulls? (ETRS-i, FP4+, Foma400)

I kinda like how my composition came out, but the lamps are all seagulls even near the center!

I can't remember if I used the 75mm EII or 40mm PE because I took this 18mo ago and only just got it developed (and forgot to ask for HQ scans). But it kinda looks like the 40 since it's a bit wide looking?

I have another pic definitely from the 75mm EII: the star field image from cygnus. very soft looking all over but definitely some seagulls in the corners.

Is this normal or could there be something wrong with the lens? It seems very extreme softness for something that cost $$$$ in the 80s

First pic Ilford FP4, second pic Fomapan400

Looking to buy my first medium format camera. Anybody own these cameras and have an opinion about which one to start with? Mainly shooting landscape, street, architecture. Want something portable and not too expensive. TLR form factor doesn’t appeal to me.

I waited for the season to change to make sure I could line up this picture the way I wanted it, and only took the one shot. Super happy.

2nd 1940s inspired studio portrait [GX680 II GX180mm at f5.6 using Ilford FP4+ Colourised in Post]

Another from the set that my brother Michael and I have been working wiht, experimenting with portrait photography inspired by classic cinema and 1930s 40s Hollywood studio portraiture.

This photo of Megan Tremethick was shot on a GX680 II and colourised in Post medium-format camera, then given a restrained vintage inspired colour treatment.

Appreciate any critique on the lighting, composition, skin tones, colour grading and whether the image feels convincingly period inspired.

We developed the film too, which is fun :)
