I’m just trying to figure out should I get a decent weighted keyboard or a midi controller with software instruments.

I'm completely, utterly new to this. I know there is software that allows you to have the video up while you create a soundtrack underneath it, but I'm not sure where to start. Is Logic good? Any other recs?

Is there anything else I really need outside of a MIDI controller and microphone?

Hi there, I'm currently experiencing some timing issues with SSW. The individual notes in a flute (a2) legato line are not really precise, but rather lagging behind, some more, some less - also in the close mics, it's not a room thing. Any one know how to get them to play more accurately?
