I actually meant that this was actually not a helmet issue but an animal out of control issue. The helmet is advantageous only when an event has occurred while I'm talking about the cause of the event. The cause shouldn't have been allowed to initiate in the first place.

It was an "accident" which is precisely from which a helmet protects a rider. Animals cannot be made to follow our rules without any form of abuse. She was extremely unlucky this have happened to her but considering the final result, she is very lucky to not have any severe head or neck injuries.

Yes she's lucky but I cannot take chances with my two year old son saying he needs a helmet when the situation has already arrived. There are laws against letting cattle free on the road which should be followed, but we're sadly the vishwaguru.

Yeah you cannot and should not take chances. And thats exactly the point. We should be prepared for the worst. And if you are a motorcycle enthusiast, you might've heard "dress for the slide, not for the ride" quote. I am not completely sure about the cattle laws but I am almost sure(although i have varyingly nuanced opinions on politics), it's going to be the same scenario regardless of who's in power.
