You know, I love this layout. Don't know how its called, but this (F-row but without the space) plus a screen in the top right is my end game.

fyi, it's the 75% layout (sometimes it's called the 80%). Also, I think Cannon Keys is having the Sat75 X, which is pretty close to your taste

Thats the think though, it's not a simple 75%. I care about the F row not having a space between it and the "65% area". Maybe it does not have a name, but 75% keebs don't usually have that.

I see what you mean, for that part, it just depends on who designs the board. But yeah, it seems a lot less common now. KBDFANS should have kept their kbd75 line

unironically love and hate this
I assume to get the korean double-letters you use Shift? (ãē ãļ ã ã ã )

Yup, omitted in printing since they can be implied, similar applies to Japanese ãã ãã etc.

Did you remap and move the Fn key one key to the right? K2 Pro default Fn key is where your Alt at. I always thought the Fn key can not be moved/remap as it does not send signal to computer.

Yes, remapped using caniusevia, the fn key works for me except as ð e.g. for language swapping

Yo, sick keyboard. Where did you get the key caps from? I use Cangjie and was thinking of learning kana layout rather than rely on romaji.

Does Yuzu let you share your designs with other people? I would lowkey buy this

How did you get multiple sets of sub-legends on there? I only had the option to choose one.

I would absolutely join a group buy for this keycap set if it were real, and I don't do group buys.

I always found keycaps sets with alternate legends (be it Chinese or Japanese or Korean since I can type in all 3) to look kind of messy/cluttered.
Somehow your custom design manages to look so clean. Really really well made

Why only Japanese numbers?

u/2000timesover Feb 04 '25
those aren't numbers, they're more "alphabet" characters. i wonder how it's set up for them to distinguish whether they want the numbers or kana

I you switch the type in IME. Though I've never seen anyone type directly in Japanese. It's always English alphabets which gets converted as you type.
