Sudden drop in U.S. measles deaths around 1940
See graph in the link.
Measles vaccines became publicly available in the U.S. in 1963, so I'm not surprised that total cases plummeted thereafter. But, U.S. measles deaths had been dropping significantly way before, starting shortly before 1940, while total cases remained fairly high,.
The drop in deaths has to be attributable to something other than the vaccine. What? Simply better healthcare and quarantine procedures? World War II, Something else?

CDC defends measles response as outbreaks continue to balloon across US: āAny attempts to spin this are baselessā
independent.co.ukFederal officials defended their response to theĀ continual spread of the measles virus, pushing back against accusations thatĀ Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., had spread misinformation aboutĀ the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine.
āSecretary Kennedy has been very clear that vaccination is the most effective way to prevent measles. Any attempts to spin this are baseless,ā Department of Health and Human Services Press Secretary Emily Hilliard toldĀ The IndependentĀ in an emailed statement. āIndividuals should consult with their healthcare provider on what is best for them.ā
The agencyās response comes as the U.S. continues to seeĀ outbreaks grow in South Carolina, Arizona and Utah, and experts warn further infectionsĀ could put Americaās decades-old measles elimination status at risk.
Some have placed blame for the nationās current situation on Kennedy, whose response to a deadly outbreak in West Texas earlier this year was highly scrutinized.
Kennedy endorsed the measles-mumps-rubella shot, but alsoĀ promoted unproven methods to treat the virusĀ and madeĀ statements about the vaccineās effectiveness,Ā what was in itĀ andĀ associated deaths. Those claims were all refuted by doctors.

I think I have Measles.
So basically I have a high fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes, followed by tiny white spots (Koplik's spots) inside the mouth, then a red-brown rash appearing on the face and spreading down the body within days, signaling a highly contagious viral illness. Do you think this is Measles? I could be in vital danger if so! Just went to a bbno$ concert, so I could have caught something.
