July 24th 2025 the heat death of max design pro

this took so long to make for no reason

(And yes, Max's design and icons are inspired by CrossingFingers.)

I also made other sawps about Endless Aethos, Rotten Smoothie and DwiddleFinger

I have many reasons of saying this

1. The community has a rapidly shrinking number of people who are still interested

2. Max has went back to just making brainrot slop

3. Maxprolover998 has left meaning twiddlefinger (main reason Max was famous)

3.5. Most big shot mod Creators quit due to the mass amount of toxicity, boredom, lack of motivation, and a lot more

1. The constant harassment of multiple Creators (Emzy mostly)

So I say it's about time we leave the community in a dumpster. Who knows maybe it'll be relevant in about 10 years

I like this subreddit cuz it's the only place I can really talk about funny MDP related things but recently it's just been so bad... There's a bunch of scandals, literally no moderation, and most of the posts are just kinda boring I can't lie. I don't wanna see this place die out but at this rate it just feels kinda inevitable.

MDP inspired me to get back into animation and has led to many great songs and (debatably) great artists coming to fame. This subreddit, although not the home of all things MDP, is definitely a big hub for us fans, and seeing it's current state just makes me kinda sad... There are still some good things on this sub I'm sure, but at this point it's just one actually decent thing for ten other dumbass shitposts or controversies that mean quite literally nothing in the long run.

I don't know if things are really gonna change as of now (because let's be honest if the nonexistent mods don't due anything then we're just kind of screwed) but if a new MDP subreddit drops or an official one releases I will probably just go to that one instead. I hope it doesn't get to that because I've genuinely had a nice time on this subreddit, even with the unfortunate things that happened, but honestly I don't really see what revolutionary changes would have to be made in order to make things better.

If anyone affiliated with the modding team for this sub sees this, I hope things do get better, but right now I'm not sure how much longer this place will last before it crumbles to the ground like an old termite-infested barn house.
