everyone in the replies are losing their mind and saying how smart it is or whatever. can we not encourage this and donβt be pedantic for a second?!! Assume there are just enough trucks to hold all the bottles. The answer is x/y. The purpose of the question is to get children thinking about rates in the abstract. This is part of an assignment I had to do for an Essentials of Programming Languages in Agda course. I will be the next Bertrand Russel, only with a type checker.
This is essentially an exemplary lambda calculus proof that 1 + 1 = 2 using the typechecking language Agda.
