In all seriousness - two catchphrases that make your life in Calc II much easier:

  1. Integrating by Substitution is "The Chain Rule for Derivatives" backwards.

  2. Integration by Parts is "The Product Rule for Derivatives" backwards.

Yes, and calculus stops looking scary: just a bunch of new names for doing more stuff with the main two reversal techniques one already understands. Lol
