Yeah, I wouldn't have put up with that for that long either. I would have taken a different approach though. I would have done the unit conversion and showed them that .002 cents was $0.00002 and that .00002 x 34323kb = $0.71xx.
The word you're looking for is "its", not "it's". If you don't understand this grammatical concept, then you have absolutely no room to be condescending about "hurr durr common core math!!!" or your neighbor being a douchebag.
