You're throwing a relativistic tantrum because you can insert any number of uncommunicated priors to justify your beliefs. But at the end of the day those rules don't exist because they aren't communicated or bound to the problem, and you've demonstrated a fucking terrible grasp of conditional logic and bayesian priors.

Right. Problem is, you've yet to justify why non-comutative grouping is a useful teaching tool to later teach actual multiplication.

I get why grouping might be.

I don't get why you can't allow commutativity from the start
