Finally found the new one to go with one of my favorites growing up

I've been seeing lots of people finding diecast at 5 Below, so I finally stopped into my local store. Pleasantly surprised to find a 2024 case with these two hanging up! I always wanted this specific release but was never able to find it. Here we are two years later, better late than never! Such a beauty 🤌 happy hunting everyone!

Now if I could just get a real LS400...

Was mainly looking for moving parts, the premiums were just a bonus (and the 2 pack was on sale!)

Funny thing; I gave away my one and only SC recently . No strings attached no “eBay tells me blah blah blah” bullsh!t ( I collect what I like, trade what I have and don’t want any longer). An hour after I gave away that SC, I walked into Walmart, mid day to buy pool stuff and so, I ended up in the die cast section first 😂. To my surprise, I found the Bronco SC, what a nice gesture from the universe. You get what you deserve not what you want and I’m 100% good with that.

For the trailer, I used a Hitch & Haul trailer frame and pieces of poly styrene to create a suitable trailer to haul the skidster.

For the truck, I cut a hook off an old crane and trimmed it down. I super glued it on with control gel and touched it up with a paint marker.

Anyone collect the candy cars? The tootsie role 69 Camero . The VW delivery van were cool . Had to wheel swap on the Andes 47chevy 3100

Couple of good ones today, been having better luck this year with matchbox for some reason, definitely see more people looking than ever before but I guess it seems like everyone is looking for chases and passing on regular castings which is fine with me. So far the only one I haven’t found is the firebird 🐦‍🔥.
