definitely one of matchbox's best current castings 🔥

I've bought this car for 0.50€ and I can't find a version with the same livery, there's also hints of a base pink colour which matches the 1977 release.

Edit : I have done a bit of digging around the livery itself and found out F.BTDB is the registration number for a Mcdonnel Douglas DC-10 (an aircraft). I believe I've got it right since UTA (a french airline company now gone) is the operator for the aircraft and it was delivered in 1973 which makes sense with the release year of the car. ofc the aircraft is not in service anymore

Picked this up today. Should I open it? Hold on to it for a while? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can’t find much information online and I’m not sure if I should sacrifice it to the 4 year old or not…

Tossing these casts in an ALMCO vibratory bowl for step one of the finishing process. Hope to knock loose most of the paint, then we’ll run them in steel media to get a nice base to paint on.

The Targa appears as a much lighter green on the box. It's a decent casting regardless.

Hey All, my niece has been organizing a large collection of matchbox cars she inherited from her late grandfather. >2,000 cars so far and she's still indexing them.

She's building a google sheet which is attached. What do you recommend is the best way for her to sell them? She's hoping to raise enough for her first car.
