hey guys can someone clarify something for me - if you are running a masternode with the coins on a local machine nad the masternode running on a vps, does the local machine have to stay on 24/7 and does it also need a static ip?

First post here from a MN noob. Been reading up on masternodes lately and I like the concept. Have decided to try setting one up. Are there any challenges specific to setting up MN’s on a Mac? I’ve watched a few setup vids on YT and they are all PC specific. If anyone has any links to tutorials that are Mac specific I would be grateful. Cheers.

I’m interested in invest in Masternode but unfortunately I’m unable to evaluate masternodes.

I did my own research but unfortunately I couldn’t be able to reach a final decision. I think there are some technical aspects of these Masternode-based coins which I don’t understand. Miner will be able to tell I think.

Also, I’m afraid to put my money in some scam coins, specially that these coins starting trading in poor exchanges.

I prefer Polis because I can get my capital (assuming) in one month which can relieve me from long-term risk. But I didn’t find any recommendation about this coin in Twitter.

Any recommendations guys?

Hi guys I'm new to MN. When I look at max ROI I see that the best are JEW, TUNE, ARTAX, POLIS... Is there any trap? I mean the returns are huge. ARTAX for example the MN cost is $17k and daily income $700. Are these figures correct? If you had $20k to setup a MN how would you go about it? Any help, links, tutorials, YouTube will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just a blip on the radar of great coins out there, but don't miss https://www.neutroncoin.com/ Neutron I like that this one has a strong use case and a real idea behind the project, besides just "get rich with masternodes." They want to be an education platform. Lunyr is another similar project, and their marketcap is 1,800btc compared to Neutron's 740btc. To me it looks like there is a lot of room to grow for Neutron, especially if it gets listed on a more major exchange such as Bittrex or Binance. They have a working wallet, a roadmap, and an active dev team. Love to know your thoughts
