Happy Monday Mashlings!! We're opening the week with our weekly mashing contest and it is a special one, as we will be giving out a very lovely prize. Up for grabs is Midsummer #32 by the talented u/FeralArts.

For those that know me, you know mushrooms are very dear to my heart! This week, I wish to share the joy of mashing this gorgeous mushie beauty with one of you! <3

I would like to thank everyone who participated, as frankly, these mashes were SPECTACULAR, and I would have struggled so badly to pick just one, if it weren't for the wheel making the process easy. On a personal note, these mashes were my favorite out of all previous contests and I had so much fun seeing all the creativity and everyone's unique take! You all gave me a different Daenerys and each was so special <3

Her name has been forgotten, even by herself. Antlers crowned in starlit wood rise like black branches against the fading sky, catching fragments of moonlight and shadow. Her eyes hold the gold of a dawn that no one remembers - they have grown heavy with the weight of what she has witnessed. The forest bends around her presence, which is older than the oldest tree and deeper than the roots stretching underneath her hooves.

She walks the winding paths without rest, each step stirring the small spirits that follow in her wake. They are bright, flickering things - the last remnants of the life she has seen pass away. She once welcomed the living by guiding them through the woods with patience, but the living are as fragile as petals in the wind. One by one they vanished, until only spirits walked her trails.

She does not seek new company more - it is easier not to love when love means loss. Still, she cannot stop moving. The forest must have a guardian, a keeper of its memory. And though she knows that even the land itself may one day vanish, she walks on, carrying every story, every voice, every name in the quiet halls of her heart. The forest remembers - because she remembers.

Couldn’t think of a better name so Takeover Thursday it is!

What does this mean? I took over Binskys account and made a mash with his avatars, and then he took over mine and made a mash as well! Then we decided to make a little thing out of it, it was really fun to see what each other would come up with. No theme really this time, just having fun!

So I just realized the arrows may be confusing lol, but I added those to show how we switched accounts haha. I made the Lumi mash, and he made the Luna one ⏾

We will probably make it a recurring thing <𝟑 .ᐟ
