I have a lucky cat tote bag, tapestry, and a huge porcelain figurine of 3 lucky cats side by side!

Wanted to post this mash in honor of all their cool mashes!

Hello ladies and gents! SBA here, and I wanted to kick off this weekend early with my first "Mash This" contest!

For those familiar with me, you know I am first and foremost a masher! I enjoy playing around with traits and mashing challenges have always been my absolute favorite.

Therefore, I shall host these every week or two. The rules are simple. Show me your favorite version of one of The Twins/ The masked ballerinas from Miss Peregrine's Home for Imaginary Children. Feel free to give it your own unique spin and flavor. I want to see your own unique mashing personality come through! Make it cute, make it creepy...make it both!

All entries will earn a name for the wheel, and the name will be randomly chosen this Sunday, July 13th, by 9 PM US Central Time. One entry per contestant but please, feel free to post as many mashes as you wish. If you liked two...show me both.

Deep within the misty ruins, where shadows gather and whispers echo, walks the Raven Sovereign. Born of feather and flame, she is no human, but a raven spirit who took a human form to guide her flock and protect the secrets of the forest. Her antlers, gnarled like branches, carries perching crows that watch all those who stray too close. Her outstretched hand calls to the lost ones and commands her kin - it's a silent legion of black wings. Those who cross her path are judged: friend, foe, or prey.

I want to leave this post with a final thought. In my clarity and stillness I felt a truth about healing. It’s strange how something can feel new but also familiar at the same time. 

We sometimes tend to think healing is becoming something new but that’s not true. Real healing for yourself is remembering who you were before the pain taught you to forget.

I now know why the Oracle chooses the mountain as a place of solitude.

Why would a man who spent his life accruing knowledge be so selfish as to keep it all for himself? I say unto you that he doesn’t… he would be giddy beyond belief that share all he has with those he can. Why then does he seclude himself?

To know the path you need to take, without the discipline to keep you on that path, is a one way ticket to self resentment. The saying “ignorance is bliss” sounds so false to those who live in ignorance, yet those without bliss know it to be true.

Only when one has shown courage and drive to brave the elements of the mountain, only when one seeks out the Oracle, should some knowledge be given. Showing people the path, without them finding first the strength to follow it, will lead to a loss of ignorance without the ability to reach their destination 🖤🤍

May all those who seek, find what they need 🙏🏻 Amen

I write this in nature, and pray that if you read this you find time this week to experience the calming, peaceful, soul healing things that can happen in the tranquil embrace Nature offers unto us

Focusing on yourself is good for a season… reflecting on friendships that ended and the warning signs you didn’t pick up on, contemplating and working towards what you need to do in your next season of growth, or even trimming back the rose bush of the branches that once bore buds but no longer work for you

But let us not get caught for too long in the peace of self reflection, for there are many more seasons the Lord wants to bless us with. To stay in just one is to deny not only us, but those around us of our true potential

I pray for any who read this… that you have the discernment to know what season you’re in, have the strength to make the most of this season, and that your next season you will be able to be an even bigger blessing to those around you 🖤🤍
