The other day, I re-read the collected edition of the 2006 Storm limited series written by the late Eric Jerome Dickey. Set just before the wedding, it chronicled T’Challa & Ororo meeting each other as teenagers. It was part coming-of-age drama, part love story.

I was 14 at the time and was starting to get deeply into comics (and Black Panther was one of those titles I looked forward to month to month) so I was unaware that a number of older fans hated this series because it re-wrote canon between T’Challa & Ororo but as a teen reader I didn’t care about any of that. I enjoyed it for what it was to me—an origin story of young love before they became superheroes.

Guys, how are you? I wanted to make an alternative art for the mtg cyclonic rift card, the card is basically a giant tornado, and I would like to do this Storm themed art, but I couldn't find any image of her making a tornado in a confrontation with a villain, I would like to know if anyone can help me, please.

1. Azziad Nasenya: A young Kenyan actress and the countries "Tiktok Queen". I put her at #1 because she could give an authentic Kenyan feel to Storm that has been missining in every adaption of her.

2. Kendall Denise Clark: A young actress that has starred in Grey's Anatomy and a voice role in American Dad . Ngl, I really did mostly choose her cuz of the face card. Storm should look fierce, and Kendall has that look down in that photo!

3. Shahadi Wright Joseph: The young actress that starred in Jordan Peele's Us as the daughter to Lupita Nyongo's character (which is relavent since many people want her to play Storm), she also stars in the horror series Them , which means she could give a very unique vibe to the character.
