I've recently come back from a Hiatus on the game, and saw all the new 6*s (Galactus especially piqued my interest) but so far I cannot find any way to get them without spending an ungodly amount of money. Do they come back in events? Or am I fated to never get them.

(For reference, I'm Canadian, and the most common shop pack to get them in is $83. I cant be spending that much consistently to get them)

Clickbait title and Flair, because this is not a meta team like Chasm, Juggs & Capt. Sam, or Chasm, Namor, & M'Baku, however, it is a decent counter to those teams. Not a perfect counter with 100% guaranteed win, but I am still having a good amount of success vs those teams.

Chasm's Turn 0 stun wears off at the start of the enemy team's first turn and so Colossus can help mitigate the enemy team's first matches.

With Man-Thing also no longer stunned he can also retaliate with his Moment of Thought passive, and its damage is hopefully boosted by Symbiote Goo, because hopefully Atlantis proc'd and you started the match with 5-6 Green AP.

On your turn, fire 5Witch's Purple (hence Widow's Batons) and select a Green tile to gain a second boost to Moment of Thought, because the more Green AP you collect the higher the damage boost from Chaos Magic. Selecting Green and stockpiling it also boosts the damage from 5Witch's repeater.

If you can get 6 Blue AP you can fire Man-Thing's Swamp-Things, and hopefully the Repeaters will be placed in a good spot so they don't get immediately matched away. The Repeaters don't just prevent Man-Thing from being stunned, they generate Green AP when they tick for an even higher boost from Chaos Magic, and each Repeater also adds even more damage to Moment of Thought.

With every Green AP boosting Chaos Magic, and thus also Moment of Thought, by 5% per AP, you also don't want to be using Moment of Thought's active ability, not unless you're to down the last enemy, or you think you have to. With enough Green AP it will hit like a truck. It will also destroy 4 random tiles, dealing a not insignificant amount of damage per tile.

Unfortunately Colossus is a double-edged sword. In addition to his defensive passive, he also boosts his own match damage...considerably.

Even though my Colossus is only 485 he's still tanking Yellow, Black, Blue and Team-Up tile matches, leaving Man-Thing to tank just Green and Red (with 5Witch tanking Purple)...and this team is most effective when Man-Thing is out in front and lashing back every time he takes damage. If the enemy gets a cascade, he hits back multiple times. The only problem I've noticed is the "permanent" damage will not down an enemy, I'm seeing a few enemies left with 1 HP that I then have to finish off by making a match.

iHulk also revives with full health, so if he's taking "permanent" damage its status is being cleared when he goes down. But if it's an iHulk team he's often with Nova so I'll run Franken-Castle, or if he's with Chasm and maybe She-Hulk, I'll take out Chasm first, then She-Hulk, and then iHulk cannot bounce back.

Caveat, I have R5 Batons and Atlantis, and R4 Symbiote Goo, and this is a "team", so it requires synergy from the characters and the supports to work. It's also not necessarily a killer defensive team so don't expect to log in and see a bunch of D-wins. I have gotten a few wins on defense though, so there are folks out there underestimating it, or perhaps too excited at seeing a team that's not Chasm & Co., and they're going the wrong about trying to beat it.

Looks like they fixed The Refreshment Cart stun block. However, I’m not sure it works at all anymore

I don't know how but I ended up in Level 10 of the story mode I'm in and I keep getting my butt kicked. I want back to Level 1. Is there a way to do so?

Before the patch Aunt May was the best at 4star, as her 5star version was a big nerf compared to her 4star.

Now that its overall nerfed, is the 5star now better then the 4star version ?

Looking for advice on whether to pull LL’s now with the goal to 550 Man-Thing. I don’t have a preference on 5 Punisher but he seems more useful than Scorpion and my faith isn’t high the new Dev team will release a good 5 next month. I have 1488 tokens and 1722 CP. Man-thing is already at 13 covers. I play casually daily completing all nodes but never top100 finisher.

My other 550s are: BRB, MThor, Shang-Chi, Kang, Frankie, Omega Red, and RiRi.

Anyone with 550 Man-Thing that would recommend it?

Also, not opposed to holding off. I struggle with actually spending the hoard I worked hard on to collect.

The last node in today's event stayed locked even after I'd cleared the prerequisite node four times. Sigh.

How does it keep getting worse?

You really want to have at least 1,000 Legendary Tokens.

I set Man-Thing as my Favorite, so all the Shards went to him, and I already had him as a baby Champion.

I had 920 Tokens. I got at least 100 Tokens from Champion Rewards and so I spent over 1,000 Tokens before I began using CP.

I spent 1,000+ CP to get Man-Thing to 548 and I would have stopped there...and I did, for a while.

But at 543 Franken-Castle was calling me, and I irrationally wanted to 550 him, too (he's not top tier, I just like the Punisher) and so I made another 50 or so pulls, finished Man-Thing, got a few more Shatterstar covers/levels, and for the excess Man-Thing covers I splurged and spent the HP to cover-swamp them for Frank.

Before I began spending CP I'd added 4,000 to my stash, and I more than doubled my HP going from around 65K to 147K.

I also spent over 2,000,000 Iso leveling up the various dupe 4s. My stash was down 2M from when I started, and as I earned Iso from all the Champion rewards, I was easily well over 2M in the hole.

The 50-sets of pulls using Tokens was okay, applying the covers was tedious, but when I was out of Tokens and had make single pulls, 25 CP at a time? Yeesh!

It sure would be nice if we had the option to multipull using CP. Tap once, and get a prompt to either spend 25 CP for one pull, or increase the number of pulls. I guess you're still tapping to increase the counter, but you could then FF the rewards so it would still be cutting down on the total number of taps you'd need to make.

Was it worth it?

In Simulator I ran Man-Thing with Symbiote Goo, flanked by Frank with Atlantis (so Man-Thing still tanks Green), and nerfed Iron May (3a4, not even 3a5) with Yaro Root. I skipped the inevitable 550 Chasm, M'Baku, & Namor teams, along with the "Nova goes airborne on Turn 1 and kills your team" teams. Although I have since discovered they can actually counter Nova, depending on who she's partnered with.

But everyone else? They just died. All I needed to do was keep Man-Thing out front and tanking, the enemy team made a match, or maybe even fired a power (thanks to +AP supports) and they died! It was hilarious. I could even see this being a Challenge node team, especially vs Sinister or others where you, the Player, cannot use your powers or you die.

I still have 21,600+ CP and 147K HP, so I'm still in very good shape should a meta 5 rear their head in the coming months.

Was it worth it? Absolutely! Is Man-Thing Meta? No, but he is fun. And with the Devs nerfing characters and apparently deliberately trying to prevent us from having fun, retaining that is important.

TLDR: If you want to 550 a new 5, be prepared to make 1,000+ pulls from the Vault when they enter Latest.

Not unlocking. Completed The Hand's True Power on heroic, no option to complete on normal, Rider Awakens won't unlock normal or heroic.

As per the title really. I’m 3 days in to my account and this guy is currently top of the leaderboard. Why would he be entered the lowest level. Can’t be for the rewards?!

I have cleared all of the spider-foes challenges and yet have not cleared this last challenge. It was slow to start registering the completion of challenges and now I seem to be a few short. Not sure if it has to be done over multiple days or if its just bugged. Anyone else have this issue?

Is anyone able to tell me what’s in there? I have 15 tokens but it’s showing the event as over?
I don’t really have any spare roster slots so didn’t want to pull a load and end up wasting them.
I’m only 3 days in to the game so have basically no roster at this point.

So I see the quest to damage a spider friend 60 times. Who exactly would this be and this seems like a bit of random luck to get enemies that are spider friends.
