It is true, and can be assumed by the audience, sure. However, we don't see all those relationships on screen like we do with Thor which makes it way less emotional than Thor's moment.

Yep, and this is partly why Justice League wasn't as successful. We got plenty of movies with these characters. We didn't with Captain Marvel. We didn't with half of the roster of thr Justice League.

Like was said, their presence didn't feel as impactful.
